Reviews and Ratings
We had a fantastic family vacation at the Makai Club. The location was perfect for accessing nearby beaches like Hanalei, and the unit we stayed in was spacious and well-equipped for our needs. While the staff was very friendly and helpful, the cleanliness of our sofa bed was a little concerning when we arrived. Additionally, some areas of the property, like the hot tub, could get crowded. Overall, it was a great value for the experience we had.
We had an exciting family trip at the Makai Club, which offered a peaceful atmosphere and spacious accommodations that perfectly suited our needs. The staff was friendly and very helpful with planning our activities, making our stay memorable. While the pool area was smaller than expected, we loved the easy access to nearby attractions and the cleanliness of our unit. The lack of air conditioning was a slight downside, but we found it comfortable overall.
Our family had an amazing eight-day getaway at the Makai Club. The spacious accommodation was perfect for us, with a kitchen that made cooking easy. Though we did experience a few minor issues with hot water and a small pool, the beautiful location and helpful staff more than made up for it. The proximity to shopping and dining was fantastic, which kept us busy during our stay. However, keep in mind that the resort is remote, and it may take some time to reach other popular areas on the island.
Our stay at the resort was delightful, with spacious accommodations and a peaceful atmosphere that made for a relaxing getaway. The cottages were charming, and the grounds were beautifully maintained. While the air conditioning could have been better, the overall experience was enjoyable. We loved the proximity to farmers' markets and local beaches, although dining options were a bit limited nearby.
I had a decent time at this hotel as it served as a good base for exploring Kauai. The rooms were clean but felt a bit dated, which was somewhat expected. The staff was helpful and offered us great tips for getting around. I particularly enjoyed the complimentary amenities like beach chairs and bike rentals, but it was a bit frustrating to deal with the unexpected price hike for the golf cart tour.
